Group B: Albania 1 - 6 Spain, Croatia 1 - 3 Italy

Spain and Italy have secured their berths in the round of 16 of the UEFA EURO 2024 qualifiers after impressive victories in Group B. Spain thrashed Albania 6-1, while Italy overcame Croatia 3-1 in highly anticipated matches.

Spain, the reigning European champions, dominated the match against Albania from the outset. They took the lead early on and never looked back, with goals coming from Sergio Busquets, Dani Olmo, Marco Asensio, and a brace from Ferran Torres. Albania's consolation goal was scored by Arlind Ajeti.

In the other Group B match, Italy faced a stiffer challenge from Croatia. The teams were locked in a tense battle until late in the second half when Italy broke the deadlock through Federico Chiesa. Ciro Immobile and Lorenzo Insigne added further goals to seal the victory for Italy.

With these results, Spain and Italy have secured the top two spots in Group B and will advance to the round of 16. Albania and Croatia are eliminated from the competition.
